Pre-writing Activity Books: Line, Number, Letter and Shape Tracing
Why is Pre-writing important?
Writing is a communication skill that is extremely useful in life, even in this age of technology. Children must, therefore, master this skill at very early in life, as many other aspects of child development may depend on it. Pre-writing is simply learning the skills necessary to begin writing. It involves learning to hold and grip the pencil in the correct way and also to maneuver along a path on a writing surface. This fine motor skill does not come easily to children. Therefore it is important to practice over and again until the child is comfortable to begin writing numbers and letters.
The set of books are designed to provide hands-on practice for the child all year round, by the time they are 4 (or earlier in many cases) they are ready to write numbers and letters confidently.
